A READING EIGHT YEARS IN THE MAKING WON'T HAPPEN ON MAY 10!
Eight years ago we held a hugely successful silent reading and also announced an old-fashioned outloud reading scheduled for May 10, 2011 (see the poster above designed by David Barringer). Alas, we haven't planned anything and won't be at the south end of the Literary Walk in Central Park on Tuesday. But, if you'd like, you can go there and read silently at 2PM? Otherwise, we will try to be there May 21, 2011? If you'd like to confirm the occurrence of something that day, probably also around 2PM, send an e-mail to lee at eyeshot.net and we'll give you time/space coordinates. For now, on Thursday May 12, in Philadelphia, at Tattooed Mom's on South Street and 6th or so, there's a Barrelhouse reading featuring Christian TeBordo, Tom McAllister, Mike Ingram, the Eyeshot Editor, and others. The theme is a good night's sleep, green tea, and silence.
